| Sight Saving Flight |

At 2:30 a.m., VitalOne coordinated an emergency NICU flight for a 3 lb. infant suffering from level 3 Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). The neonatologists determined that unless immediately treated with surgery, the baby will be blind. VitalOne’s flight coordinator, Rabbi Leider, worked against time to fly the newborn on a 60 minute flight from New York City to Cleveland Clinic, to be operated on by the world-renowned optimoligist, Dr. Jonathon Sears. The baby underwent emergency laser surgery and is presently doing great b”h .

We arrange emergency medical transfers, search and rescue missions, and we help bring the deceased to a timely burial.
