| Elderly Lady MVA |
An 84-year-old woman was seriously injured in a vehicle-accident in Canada. She suffered multiple orthopedic and soft tissue injuries and was in need of an immediate transfer to New York Presbytarian Hospital/ Weil Cornell Medical Center. The family contacted VitalOne in a panic, fearing greatly for their elderly relative. VitalOne understood the urgency of the matter and managed to get an ICU team with a Critical Care Jet in the air within 90 minutes. The patient was brought to the hospital chosen for her care after a short flight, during which she received constant intensive care.
