| Critical Care Flight At 4am |
A 24-year-old woman tragically fell into a coma due to a severe asthma attack. The team of doctors overseeing her case determined that she would have the best outcome at the Cleveland Clinic, where there is an advanced program for Anoxic Brain Injury patients. The young woman in the prime of her life was in critical condition on a respirator. Although her blood pressure stabilized somewhat, transferring her to Cleveland was no simple matter.
Once again, VitalOne pulled all the strings and made the many logistical arrangements to ensure a safe and timely transfer for this critically ill woman. She has been successfully transferred to the Cleveland Clinic where she has a much better fighting chance.
